Extradition of brother of leader of Lev Tahor authorized


The Third Criminal Sentencing Court authorized the extradition of Shmiel Weingarten, brother of community leader Lev Tahor, who is also required by the United States accused of alleged crimes against children.


Shmiel Weingarten, brother of community leader Lev Tahor Yakov Weingarten, will suffer the same fate, after the Third Criminal Sentencing Court authorized his extradition to the United States, where he is required for the alleged commission of crimes against children.


Upon verifying that there are no pending processes in Guatemala, it is ordered that the Guatemalan Foreign Ministry be notified so that it proceeds to coordinate the delivery once the sentence is final.
